Digital Camera Donated to the Baby Home!

1 Apr

Everyone loves baby pictures and the children at Aggie’s Baby Home will be no exception!  A friend of Aggie’s BH donated a brand-new digital camera.  Praise be to God.

Now that we have a camera, we can share with you via the internet what your donations and prayers are doing in Uganda on behalf of the fatherless.  Updates, stories and PICTURES of the these babies will soon fill these pages.

Front Range Christian School Raises $4,500!

1 Apr

Each spring the elementary students at Front Range Christian School in Littleton, Colorado do a spring project.  Each  student receives $1.00 as “seed”  money (plant it and make it grow) for the purpose of learning how to “grow” funds for a specific project/ministry.  For the second year in a row, FRCS chose Aggie’s Baby Home as their target ministry.  Last year they raised over $3,500.  That money went towards the purchase of the roofing materials and labor costs of the new baby home.  This year, the children raised an amazing $4,500!  This money will go towards the purchase of a computer to be used at the baby home, 6 cribs, high-chairs and toys and more.  What an inspiration to all of us!

Chris Lubega returning to Colorado!

20 Jan

Christopher Lubega, Founder of New Hope Orphanage and Aggie’s Baby Home is planning to return to Colorado in April 2010. Please pray about how you can introduce Chris (and his ministry to orphans) to new friends…. invite him to come speak at your church, bible study or home. He has an amazing testimony of how the Lord has provided for the orphans and his family. He is a kind and beautiful brother and we know you will be blessed if you get involved in what the Lord is doing in and through New Hope Orphanage and Aggie’s Baby Home in Uganda. Please call Torchgrab Ministry at 303-800-6132 or email at: wichaelfamily5@msn.com to request more information.

Additional Funds Sent to Baby Home

20 Jan

In December 2010, another $10,000 was sent to Aggie’s Baby Home towards the cost of construction! This time the funds were sent by a new generous donor/friend who has caught the vision of the awesome work the Lord is doing at the New Hope Orphanage and Aggies Babies Home. Praise God that homeless infants 0-3 years old will soon have a safe, Christian home. There are new pictures on web-site, be sure to check them out! Each month we get closer to having a home for 25 orphans aged 0-3yrs.

New Well for New Hope

6 Oct

We wanted to share this note from Paula, July 30th direct from Uganda. God provided this need September 30th at the Spaghetti Dinner–exactly two months after Paula wrote this! God is so good…
I need to tell you about the well. Pastor Chris, Agnes and Ben took William and me down to the spring. People from all over were filling their water jugs and hiking back up the mountain with them. The kids from the orphanage hike down there often to fill jugs and then hike all the way back up the mountain. I was shocked! The orphanage was getting water from a man down the street, but he is now having trouble with his well. The well at the orphanage has been broken since 2003. It will cost $8,000 to rebuild the existing well. Pastor Chris has found a company here that will dig a bigger hole and install a pump that would be feasible for their use. To dig a new well would be around $15,000 – $30,000. This is the immediate need for NEW HOPE!!! How can we survive without water? We can’t and neither can these kids. I am hoping that with all of us, we can raise the $$ and get the well done by the end of the year.
