A dream becoming reality…
29 Aug

We are pleased to announce the good news regarding Agnes Lubega’s dream to provide a home for the abandoned babies in Kampala, Uganda. As you may remember, Agnes initially dreamed of just renting a local house to provide a home for ten or more abandoned infants and babies. Amazingly, after a careful but quick consideration of this arrangement, a highly motivated and resourceful family in Colorado decided to expand Agnes’ vision– they wanted purchase land and provide the funding for the building of a brand new baby home!
Since April, two acres of land, situated next to New Hope Orphanage has been purchased. Building plans approved, land cleared and building materials purchased. The ground-breaking is scheduled for this week. Expected opening is late 2009.
Soon the beds will be filled and the everyday expenses will become a reality. Won’t you consider making a monthly pledge now? Within 3-4 months, the home will be completed except for one thing – financial support from concerned friends like you. This is a ground-breaking, first-hand opportunity for all of us to get involved in what the Lord Jesus is doing for the defenseless children of Uganda. There is no “middle-man/ministry.”
The New Hope Orphanage (for children 3+) began just over six years ago with 25 orphans. It now feeds, schools and houses over 800 – with all the support coming from compassionate Americans. Now, just imagine what God wants to do with the Baby Home.
We are still very excited to be a part of this extraordinary work of love that the Lord is doing in Kampala, Uganda – and we hope you are too. We still need many more donors to reach the goal of $1,200+ per month. Please help us spread the word about this ministry of love.
